I know a lot of realtors who don't bother sending gifts because they're always worried that the gift that they send will not land properly on their client or the client one appreciate it. Is there a risk involved with doing gifting at a high level? Of course there is. But are you going to focus on the 10 people who might not appreciate your effort or on the 90 who love it and are moved enough to do business with you and refer others to you.
Remember this: the people who will react negatively to your gifting efforts are most likely the same people who would react negatively any circumstance. You could send them a brand-new Lamborghini, and the response would be: start quote it's the wrong colour."
